I'm gonna start with what I listen too when I'm normally at the state of fucked by an emotional landslide. This song no wonder makes it here since it's from an Icelandic band that always deliver such a freezing-to-death melodic sound with a positivity to create a freezing-to-tears despair to listeners. Since they sing this in Icelandic and I don't feel like translating it so I don't know what the hell the lyrics are about lol

Winter by Tori Amos

Secondly, how can we miss this bitch? Tori Amos is personally respected as one of the coolest female artists that still exist in the current shitty world of music. This song,, well the lyrics are truly deep and thoughtful, just like how she always composed her songs. The sound of Tori's piano is truly another "must" for an annual winter and it's what made this song so powerful eventually.

Strawberry Swing by Coldplay

This is not expected to be played in winter by many of you guys - I know I know..

But for me, I feel like listening to it in a cold weather for some reasons. The song itself is cute enough to be loved and I don't post the actual music video here because you'll misunderstand the concept why I publish it here lol BTW, all hails the intro as it provides such a similar tune to หมอลำ sounds.

Skeletons by Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Then it comes the lovely weirdo called Karen O and friends, sounds biased huh? I just love this song as much as I adore Karen's hairstyle huhuhu Skeletons doesn't have any lines saying things about winter, but the melody is hauntingly beautifully blissfully cold and that's enough reason to put it here.

There Goes The Fear by Doves

Again, this song has no winter-ish lyrics, but you can strengthen your bravery for the current cool condition though (..what a lame reason, bitch) lol I love how the ending are stretched out but doesn't feel like it's overextended. This is what Doves always do to make their songs 7 minutes long :P

Amber & Tiger's Eye by Esthero

but it's worth downloading if you go to limewire or soulseek na, check it out people, this song reminds me a lot of the coldest winter in my life back there while living in Oregon.

Now if you have your lover by your side, this time around you should give her warmth by your blanket arms. Listen to this song while the birds and the bees are flying near your windows in December or something. Oh my god Maxwell is the god's son of love songs :))
