Chase & Status Featuring Plan B - End Credits
When the blood dries in my vains and my
Heart feels no more pain
I know, I'll be on my way,
To heavens door,
In UK, this song has set their highest chart ranking to date at No.9, and could be considered their biggest hit so far. It is included in the original soundtrack of the movie "Harry Brown," other than being very sensually catchy, that ignited the track to invade a mass market after spending ages gaining their reputations as one of the best known England-based Drum & Bass DJs.
The song opens with an acoustic light guitar that makes me wonder if I am listening to Snow Patrol or Keane. A minute later it's all proved that I'm damn wrong, lol. They throw in the beat and go hard on this; it doesn't take more than five seconds to feel the UK Garage style along the drum and bass, dubstep beat which they are good at producing. Plan B's vocal becomes another essential factor driving this song smoothly with the words about something that is led to its ending point, hopeless and cold ... And to the music and lyrics, it's dark, yet enlightening. It's sad, yet inspiring and all of these combined will make the song go straight right to your favorite December's playlist as it has already grown on me, more and more I listen to it :)
